Candlelight Ski 2017: Friday, February 10th

Join Us for a Truly Magical Evening Ski

Beaten Path Nordic Trails ski club welcomes both members and non-members to an evening candlelight ski to be held at the Little Falls Golf Course, Friday, February 10th, 2017 beginning at 6:45 pm.

Invite your friends and family out for a night out! The golf course trail will be groomed and candles will be lit along the entire course! Both skiers and snowshoers are welcome! Last year, over 100 people participated.

Join us upstairs at Motown following the event where refreshments including hot beverages and finger foods will be available for purchase. Enter your name for a chance to win one of our participation prizes or purchase a ticket for a special ski-related prize, compliments of Fresh Air Experience.

If anyone is interested in donating prizes for the raffle table, or if you have any questions, please feel free to call either Trish (597-5581) or Anna (597-8776).

We hope to see you there.

Annual BPNT Candlelight Ski letter

Want to make an Ice Candle or Candles? Please follow the following instructions:

Greetings Skiers!

If anyone would like to help with creating ice candle holders for the annual candlelight ski scheduled for February, please help out!  They are so easy to make, satisfying and beautiful! Anna and Trish recommend Bundt cake pans, but if you don’t have them, here’s a simple way.
What you need…
1. Ice cream pail and smaller container with weight in it (pebbles, rocks…lead!)
2. Fill about 1-1.5 inches of water in the bottom of the large pail. Let it freeze
3. Place weighted smaller container inside and pour water inside. Ensure that the small container stays in the middle
4. Freeze
5. Run warm water over the outside of the ice cream pail until it loosens.
6. Do the same for the smaller inside container
VOILA! Candles!
